Privacy Policy

1. Overview

YouTube Suite Pro ("the Extension") is a free Chrome extension created by Tauã Borges Kloch Leite. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles information. In short: we collect nothing, store nothing on external servers, and share nothing with anyone.

2. Data we do NOT collect

The Extension does not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, age, etc.)
• Browsing history or visited URLs
• Video watch history
• Cookies or tracking identifiers
• Device information, IP addresses, or location data
• Any analytics or usage telemetry

3. Local storage only

The Extension stores your preferences exclusively inside your own browser using the Chrome Extension Storage API:

• chrome.storage.sync — stores your custom keyboard shortcuts, synced across your own Chrome profile devices.
• chrome.storage.local — stores your video preferences (speed, zoom, volume, filters, modes) and video bookmarks on your local device only.

This data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted to any external server, including ours.

4. Permissions used

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions for the stated purposes:

• activeTab — to detect the currently active YouTube tab and apply controls to it.
• scripting — to inject the content script that enables video controls on YouTube pages.
• storage — to save your preferences and bookmarks locally in your browser.
• tabs — to open bookmarked videos in a new tab when requested.
• clipboardWrite — to copy the PIX donation key to your clipboard when you click "Copy Key".

None of these permissions are used to access, read, or collect personal information.

5. Third-party services

The Extension itself makes no external network requests. However, the popup contains links to third-party services that you may choose to visit:

• Buy Me a Coffee — optional donation platform. Governed by their own privacy policy.
• Chrome Web Store — for reviews. Governed by Google's privacy policy.

Visiting these links is entirely optional and not required to use the Extension.

6. Children's privacy

This Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is no risk of children's data being processed.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
